Our Policies
We believe that clear is kind. The more information we can provide about how our business works, the less anxiety or confusion on your end. We don't love enforcing policies or fees without the opportunity to communicate them well. When booking, please note the cancellation policy and important information sections. Once your booking is confirmed, this ensures you're clear on our unique business policies.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Please cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment. Cancelling or rescheduling with 48 hours or less will incur a fee of 50% of the missed appointment should the space not be available to fill. No-shows are enforced at 100%. Should the space be filled with another client, the fee is waived. Outstanding cancellation or no-show fees are due prior to rebooking.
Arrival & Important Information
Please arrive to your appointment alone and avoid being earlier than 5 minutes. We book back to back with only a 5 minute buffer. If you arrive early, you are welcome to text 604-741-1883. If we're ready for you we can buzz you up, but we don't have a waiting room. If you are showing any symptoms of sickness, you will be asked to reschedule. Vouchers, products, gift certificates and memberships are all final sale and non-refundable.
Maintenance Pricing
Rebook your Brazilian, French bikini, full leg, back or eyebrow wax within 4-6 weeks to receive maintenance pricing. All maintenance waxing must be booked within 4-6 weeks to fall within regrowth hair cycles. Booking either before 4 weeks or after 6 will result in full regular pricing with no exceptions. Maintenance pricing only applies to clients who had their previous service with us at Rituale Olistica & Spa - we do not offer maintenance appointments for services received elsewhere.
All shellac services provided at Rituale Olistica include free removal; however, removal of products applied elsewhere will result in a $38 service fee. This is a loyalty program - other products may not be compatible with our removal system and can take more time to remove. Thank you for understanding. All removals without new manicures provided at Rituale Olistica are discounted at 50% off.
Things You May Not Know Before Visiting Our Space
Pre and post care for all services will be explained at your appointment or communicated ahead of time. If there is any pre-care necessary prior to your first appointment, Chiara will reach out personally. Our intake forms may be more thorough than others you've received before. This is to ensure that your practitioner takes every precaution in providing the best service possible. Any omitted information can cause undue harm or injury. Clients are responsible for updating their practitioner at every appointment of any medical, medication, topical and routine changes. Failure to do so can cause adverse reactions and unnecessary discomfort at the liability of the client.
Ensure that you come into your wax appointment with a thorough manual exfoliation 24-48 hours prior to service - but never day of. This ensures that we can catch any hairs that may be trapped under the skin. Please arrive to your eyelash appointment with clean, dry, bare lashes. Having to remove lashes or makeup may result in an additional fee of $20. All sales are final on services, products and retail. No refunds are available.
